What is fashion and model photography, and how is it different from product photography?
Fashion and model photography uses real people to show how clothing fits, moves and feels, rather than photographing garments alone on a mannequin or flat surface. It's built for lookbooks, campaigns, e-commerce model shots and editorial spreads, while standard product photography is built for catalogue and marketplace listings.
What fashion photography styles do you offer?
We offer four core styles: model photography for clean, e-commerce-ready shots of your range; lifestyle photography for a more natural, in-context feel; lookbook photography for a full, cohesive range; and fashion editorial photography for a fully art-directed story. Most clients combine styles across a single shoot.
Do you provide models, or do I need to arrange my own?
Either works. We can help source models suited to your brand and shot list, or you're welcome to bring your own models, and we'll handle the styling, direction and photography around them.
Is styling, hair and makeup included?
Yes. Our all-inclusive service brings together a fashion stylist, makeup artist, hair stylist and production manager on the day, alongside our photography and high-end retouching, so you don't need to arrange each element separately.
How much does fashion and model photography cost?
Cost depends on your shot list, number of looks, models and locations, so we don't quote a flat price online. Get in touch and we'll put together a free, tailored quote based on your brief.
Do you shoot on location, or in the studio only?
Both. We shoot in our studios in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter and London, and can also arrange location shoots when a brief calls for a more lifestyle or editorial setting.
Can you match my brand's existing visual style?
Yes. We work from your brand guidelines, previous campaign imagery or a moodboard to keep styling, colour and composition consistent with the rest of your marketing.
How long does a fashion or lookbook shoot take?
Turnaround depends on the size of your shot list and number of looks - a focused model or lookbook shoot can often be turned around in a few working days, while a full editorial campaign typically takes longer to allow for casting, styling and concept development.
Do you offer fashion photography in both Birmingham and London?
Yes. Our main studio is in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, with an additional studio in London, so you can choose whichever location suits your team.
